Please join us for the opening reception of the new Touch Grass exhibition on Saturday, February 1st from 4-6 PM!

Touch Grass: Steffen Thomas, Senora Lynch, Raven Waters, developed in collaboration with the Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton, features the art of Southern Georgia-based painter Raven Waters, ceramicist Senora Lynch (Haliwa-Saponi Tribe of North Carolina), and Steffen Thomas. This environmentally-focused exhibition explores, with artists and writers and audience, our place in the natural world: do we exist as a part of nature? Or outside of nature, experiencing the environment as a tourist or a consumer? In viewing how these artists used different media to express their deep connection to their environments, we hope to spark curiosity, wonder, and a sense of custodianship about the natural world in both children and adults.
