STEFFEN THOMAS DOCUMENTARY TO AIR ON GEORGIA PUBLIC BROADCASTING Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel will debut Monday, February 13, at 10 PM Buckhead, Georgia – The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art is proud to announce Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel, a documentary about the life of Steffen Thomas, will air on Georgia Public Broadcasting. The airdate is set for 10 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023. The project is written and directed by Jesse Stephen Freeman for Milk Crate Films and is the second film from Freeman to debut on GPB. His documentary Somebody Else, Somewhere Else: The Raymond Andrews Story, was nominated for an Emmy after it aired on GPB in 2010. Michael Bruno is the film’s Director of Photography and it was edited by Will Eccleston for Kinetiscape Media. 

Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel features an original score written by David Kirkland Garner and performed by Phillip Bush (piano) and Claire Bryant (cello). This uniquely emotive soundtrack, Eight Songs for Steffen Thomas, is available on CD in the Museum Shop and online from Sourwood Records.
