Enjoy an evening at the STMA and support the upcoming exhibition Something to Declare/Algo Para Declarar with Latin American artists’ group Contrapunto, related arts programs, and free admission for local K-12 student tours!
Join guest speaker Kevin Sipp, noted Atlanta artist, curator, and art historian, for a delicious dinner, refreshing beverages, and amazing art! Hinterglasmalerei: Reverse Glass Painting of Steffen Thomas is on view in the West Gallery, as well as Selected Works from Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel, a temporary exhibition featuring art/themes from the recently premiered Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel documentary film.
The Live Auction, Basket Raffle, and the raffling of a signed and numbered offset lithograph by Steffen Thomas, Of Psyche and Bone, add to the fun and excitement. And to top it all off, local favorite and retired art teacher Ty Manning will be awarded the Charlie Bonner Award for the Advancement of Art Education…and he may even treat us to a song or two!
