Putnam County Elementary School art teacher Felicia Watkins will be honored with the Charlie Bonner Award for the Advancement of Art Education at this year’s Founder’s Day Celebration. Ms. Watkins has organized for hundreds of students to experience the STMA – both by visiting with their classes and through virtual tours of the museum from her art room! She is an amazing advocate for children, art education, and the STMA. We are honored to have her as a community partner and collaborator in sharing the joy in art.
